New Dryer Vent in the RV

posted in: Uncategorized | 0

Well the original dryer vent in our rig finally bit the dirt on our last trip to the COE Campground on Lake Seminole. The plastic had cracked and one of the louvers was missing half of its length. I found a stainless steel dryer vent on Amazon for $23, ordered it and installed it. Since I was so pleased with myself for doing this I had also ordered a “periscope” for the dryer vent since the outlet of the dryer did not line up with the vent tube to the outside. The is much improved over the bent and flattened metal pipe that had been in there since we installed the washer/dryer years ago when we were in Phoenix for the winter. I’ll post a couple pictures of the completed project and the my next post will be on the washer repair… What a project that was!
